Inorganic Chemistry III

Research focus Inorganic Chemistry III

The Senker research group focuses on the synthesis and characterization of porous functional materials. We develop new materials and investigate them using state of the art solid state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) as well as computational chemistry methods.

The junior research group Grüninger works on in situ and operando NMR spectroscopic methods for energy materials. The aim is to study structural disorder, short lived intermediate phases, and ion mobility under real operating conditions. The current research focus is on lead halide perovskites, a promising class of materials for photovoltaics, as well as on battery materials.

Further information about the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry III can be found here.
