Chair of Electrode Design for Electrochemical Energy Systems
The Chair of Electrode Design for Electrochemical Energy Systems focuses on materials, interfaces, and diagnostic methods for electrochemical energy storage and energy conversion. Research areas include solid state and quasi solid state batteries, proton conducting ceramic cells, solid oxide fuel cells and electrolysis cells, electrocatalysis, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, distribution of relaxation times (DRT) analysis, Bayesian methods, inverse problems, density functional theory (DFT), machine learning potentials, and the computational discovery of new materials.
